Liverpool player Alex Oxlide-Chamberlain expressed his admiration for the overwhelming popularity of his teammate Mohamed Salah, stressing that his popularity in the Middle East enhances the opportunity for Reds to crown the FIFA Club World Cup.

Liverpool is preparing Saturday evening to meet the Brazilian Flamingo team in the final match of the tournament in Qatar.

The international English player told Liverpool's website: "Salah's incredible hospitality in Doha is unbelievable. He deserves this, as a Muslim, he is of great value to millions around the world, his influence also extends to non-Muslims, in Islamic countries he always finds a very interesting and great reception" .

He added, "Salah meets all this hospitality with his timid smile, but I can feel his happiness and his feeling of pride. He deserves all of this. He is a humble man who came from Egypt and worked hard until he reached the summit."

Chamberlain added, "I hope that the final match will satisfy the fans' obsession here. This will be a great thing for all of us, as we strive for the first club World Cup title. We are here for only one thing, to achieve this great achievement."
