Elias Pettersson has now scored 16 goals and 21 assists this season and is with the best placed Swedish in the NHL's points. 37 points in 36 matches means that the 21-year-old now sneaks in the top ten with his eleventh place.
Pettersson scored the 3-1 goal at the end of the first period and then looked to be a match hero with his 4-3 goal just over nine minutes into the third, before the guests managed to acknowledge again.
A great reason Vancouver managed to break its loss suite was Jacob Markström, who played the entire match for the home team and accounted for 39 saves.
