The karateca Ricardo Barbero died last weekend because of a heart attack at age 35. The Spanish had been twice runner-up in Europe in the 84 kilos category and had won 22 national titles in several categories. Barber trained under the command of Miguel Ángel López , one of the most important technicians of Spanish karate.
