In the trampoline world championship, the men's individual final was held at the Ariake Gymnastics Stadium in Tokyo, and Ryosuke Tsuji was in fifth place.
Samurai is the top Japanese athlete in this category, and was selected as the representative of the Tokyo Olympics next year based on the selection criteria of the Japan Gymnastics Association. Samurai is the first Olympic player.
