The reigning champion suffered a major setback just days before the league premiere. Jonas Larholm left his new assignment as acting coach and referred to personal soul.

- After consideration, I have decided to terminate my employment at IK Sävehof. Handball and the club mean a lot to me, but my newly formed family is now ahead. I want to thank the club for good cooperation and for respect and understanding of my decision, ”says Jonas Larholm in a press release.

Now the two-time Norwegian champion, Drammen, announces that they are recruiting Larholm. The contract stretch extends over the season.

- Given the injuries in the team, we have been looking for a reinforcement. Jonas is a very experienced player with many unique qualities, says former big player and Drammen's current coach, Kristian Kjelling.

- Very pleased with this opportunity to work together with Kristian and all the exciting players and employees in this tradition club with great potential, says Larholm.

Jonas Larholm has made 211 international matches for Sweden and participated in the Olympic Games in London 2012. Sävehof is the only club he has played for in Sweden but has spent many years as a foreign professional, including in Barcelona and Aalborg.
