Lima - Brazilian Flamengo scored a spectacular comeback for the Libertadores Cup after a dramatic 2-1 win over Argentina's River Plate on Saturday in the final in Lima.

The Brazilian team managed to convert their late goal until the 89th minute into a thrilling win and a Gal title.

Colombian Rafael Santos put River Plate ahead in the 15th minute, but Flamengo completely turned the table in the final seconds and responded with two goals from Gabriel Brabosa (89 and second minute of injury time).

The two teams finished with 10 men to send River Plate's Execuel Palacios and Flamengo Brabosa out in injury time.

It was decided to move the final from Chile to Peru against the backdrop of protests demanding economic and political reforms.
