This summer Johan Holmqvist made the decision to put the skates on the shelf. Tonight he was celebrated in front of the home crowd in Brynäs match against Skellefteå and a lifelong dream came true.

On the ice, "Honken" had to sign a contract (as a third goal keeper) that stretched over the match and thus fulfilled his dream of ending his career in Brynäs.

After the legend was thanked, he got to see his Brynäs pick and win and shake off the powerplay problems. With just over five minutes left of the match, Emil Molin was able to push 5-4 into numerical superiority, the team's second powerplay goal of the evening. Four minutes later, Grag Scott was definitely punctured when he put 6-4 in the empty box.
