Sam Kerr has an impressive resume. Gold Shoe Winners in the United States the last three years, MVP in the same league last year, mostly goal scorer through the ages in the Australian league. After the past season, the striker declared that she was ready to test the wings in Europe, now she has chosen the destination and it will be Chelsea for Sam Kerr.

In London she becomes teammate with both Magdalena Eriksson and Jonna Andersson. Andersson also gets rid of his jersey number in connection with the move. Her old number 20 will now be worn by Kerr.

Debuted in the national team as a 15-year-old

Sam Kerr stood for a good World Cup where she scored five goals in four matches. In total she has scored 36 international goals in the Australian national team where she debuted as a mere fifteen year old. Kerr's message comes just a day after Swedish star Kosovare Asllani said she would have liked Kerr as a teammate in CD Tacón.

"It's a world player, so it's clear that it would have been very fun to get such a player," Asllani told Kristianstadbladet.
