The Russian women's team became the second in the relay at the KM short track stage

Silver medals in the Russian team won: Ekaterina Efremenkova, Ekaterina Konstantinova, Emina Malagich and Sofia Prosvirnova.

The Chinese were the first to finish, ahead of the Russian national team by 0.171 s. Third were Canadian athletes.

Earlier it was reported that short track player Sitnikov won bronze at a distance of 500 m as part of the KM stage in Montreal.
