A delegation of 16 football players from Abu Dhabi International Airport, consisting of 16 players, representing Al Ain, Al Wahda, Al Jazira, Bani Yas and Al Dhafra clubs, left for Japan yesterday evening through Abu Dhabi International Airport to set up a living experience at Uroa Red Club, within the seventh phase of the cooperation agreement. Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) and Japan Football League The program is part of the Council's endeavors to improve the age base of Abu Dhabi Clubs by learning about advanced professional experiences and enhancing the exchange of experiences with a number of football schools specialized in football academies, including the Academy of Urawa Club of Japan.
The 8-day cohabitation program will see a meeting of the Abu Dhabi club delegation at the Tokyo residence, training of players, a workshop for players with their Urawa Reds academy, and a friendly match with Urawa. Players were also given cultural and recreational activities, such as visiting the Japanese Football Museum, before returning to Abu Dhabi through the 18th Abu Dhabi International Airport.
