The disciplinary committee of the Football Federation (FFC) punished Al Wasl player Khalid Sabeel for one match and fined him 50,000 dirhams for his assault without a ball against Hatta player in the last match of the two teams in the sixth round of the Arabian Gulf League. The committee also fined Al Ain Club 10,000 dirhams for a number of fans throwing shoes in the stadium and cheering against the referee of the game, and directing inappropriate words towards the referee during Al Ain match with Al Jazeera in the league.
Al Jazira player Saeed Omar was also suspended for four matches and fined 2,000 dirhams for assaulting a youth player from Al Ahli during the U-14 league match.
