Ko Jin-young (24), the world's No. 1 women's golf player, who won the LPGA Tour this year, has confirmed the LPGA Tour Player of the Year Award in 2019.

The LPGA Tour said that the LPGA Tour BMW Championship, which was held at the LPGA International Busan (par 72) on Jan. 27, was decided as the winner of the year regardless of the results of the remaining three tournaments.

Ko Jin-young scored 240 points that could not be surpassed even if Lee Jung-eun (23), the second-placed player point of the year, won all three remaining competitions.

LPGA Tour Player of the Year must complete the top consistently among the Tour players for a year.

The Korean player received the LPGA Tour this year's player for the fourth time after Park In-bee (31) in 2013 and Park Sung-hyun (26) and Yoo So-yeon (28), who were co-winners in 2017.

Ko Jin-young, who was expected to climb to this year's player as long as she won four wins including two major tournaments this year, was delighted to confirm this year's player at the tournament in her home country.

Ko Jin-young, who debuted in the LPGA Tour last year and won the Rookie of the Year, has stood as the top golfer of the year with the best player of the year (MVP).

Ko Jin-young, who won the KLPGA Tour of the Year in the Korean Women's Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour before 2016, was honored as the best player in both Korea and the United States.

Ko Jin-young, who has already received the Annika Award for the best-performing player in the majors, has secured the prize money and is also keeping the average number of bats in the average, and the world's top ranking is unshakable.
