- I was at work, which was lucky. So I wasn't myself. I was on my way home really. All of a sudden it blackened and I thought I would collapse here. It went through the body like a shock. I went down on my knees first and then I just lay there - knocked out and couldn't talk, he tells Aftonbladet.

Wislander got immediate help from workmates.

- It happened twenty in three and half four I was on the X-ray at Sahlgrenska. Everything went lightning fast. It was cruel healthcare. Totally fantastic.

To Aftonbladet, Wislander says he has "a little work to do with his left hand and fingers there" but otherwise feels good.

- In 48 hours it has become much better considering that I could barely move my left arm first. If it ends with a finger not working, I must live with it.

Wislander, 55, is an assistant coach at Redbergslid and an expert in radio sports. He took two World Cup golds, four European Championship golds and three Olympic silver medals with the national team and has six German league golds and five SM golds.
