Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women's Sports and Women's Football Committee signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding with the Special Olympics Foundation. The signing took place at a press conference at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Naema Al Mansouri, Board Member of the Academy, Tala Al Ramahi, Member of the Board of Trustees of the UAE Special Olympics, and Houriya Al Tahiri, Member and Technical Director of the Football Committee.

The signing of the agreement coincides with the launch of the “Women's Day for Unified Sports” event, which was held in Abu Dhabi, and aims to encourage female and female sports enthusiasts to participate in a sports festival that includes many physical activities and friendly competitions under the umbrella of tolerance, coexistence and cooperation among the community. All nationalities, ages and physical conditions, girls and ladies of determination are encouraged to participate in this day.

The Academy is committed to providing sports facilities and facilities for the UAE Special Olympics Foundation.It also provides technical support and training guidance through coaches and specialists for athletes of the motivated category, and to involve players in the tournaments and events organized by the Academy, and to invite volunteers to contribute to the provision of organizational support.

In the same context, the Football Committee has pledged to make sports an element of the daily life of women in the UAE, representing the completion of efforts to enable mathematicians of people with disabilities and intellectual disabilities, and to bring them together with non-motivated players in women's unified sports, to raise their technical levels and spread the sport of football. Women in the UAE, through the construction of a football base of different ages and categories to represent the country in regional and international forums, in addition to the preparation of women's sports leaders specialized in football to achieve international standards, and participate in competitions at the national level J, regional and international, and the creation of successful partnerships and care programs in the long term.

Through the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in order to exchange knowledge and experiences related to sports activities and to provide referees, organizers and volunteers. The Women's Football Committee will provide induction workshops and refinement courses for coaches, referees, organizers and volunteers.

In turn, the Special Olympics UAE will provide trained technical cadres, contribute to the organization and management of sports tournaments and events, and promote activities and programs as part of the dissemination of women's sports culture.
