Why has it taken such a time to resolve the conflict?

- They have been very far apart from the start. Then it may have been recorded that SDHL is a new league with which the hockey association previously made an agreement. But now the players have waited a long time and think it is enough and found ways to approach.

What does it mean sporting?

- They are passionate about playing with the national jersey. High-level representation is required for the young to have players to watch out for. Then there is a women's team that can play for Sweden. It means a lot that they have not been and got to play something. This may be a one-off phenomenon. Now, hopefully, they have reached an agreement that means something good for the players and the union in the extension. It will probably generate more players.

Is everything investigated now or is there something else that lies and piers?

- Hope that you have gained a greater understanding on the part of the federation and that it is an offshoot of the future. Hopefully most of the scrimmage is done and that the girls can focus on the hockey now.

Rooth, who among other things was a key player when the Women of the Crown took the Olympic silver in Turin 2006 points out that a lot of jobs remain.

- After playing in the women's crowns myself, I know that there is a lot to work on in terms of structural parts where women are not allowed to take the place they deserve and I think that was a big part of the conflict, that you have not seen these girls best and not realized value and hopefully it will change over time and that the girls will get this respect. The toughest feeling has probably been that they have not received respect for what they do, says Rooth.
