Al Ain coach Ivan Lecco has said that giving during training sessions and official matches is the way to get into his starting lineup, not the salary of the player and the type of car he owns.
The Croatian coach said that his team's players performed poorly in an easy match yesterday evening with Al Nasr in the fourth round of the Arabian Gulf Cup and ended in a 3-1 victory.
"The solution is very simple," the Croatian coach told a news conference on how to tackle his poor performance.
He added: "I have 27 players in my squad, only 11 of them will pay them on the green rectangle. Every minute they spend during training sessions, especially matches, they should look for a chance to play."
He continued: "It is not important the value of the salary they receive and the type of car most important is the tender to book a site on the list of options."
