This is stated in a statement published on the agency’s website.

“In accordance with the process described in the International Codex Compliance Standard, after reviewing the responses received by WADA and independent forensic experts, they will report to the Independent Compliance Committee (CRC) so that the CRC can decide whether to make a formal recommendation to the Executive committee, ”the agency said.

At the same time, WADA notes that “no fixed term can be set for this process, because due process of law must be followed.”

Earlier, Russian Minister of Sports Pavel Kolobkov said that explanations were given to WADA regarding the situation with the identification of inconsistencies in the data of the Moscow laboratory.

The Minister noted that the letter was prepared by independent Russian experts in the field of information technology, and also expressed confidence that the Russian side had fulfilled all the requirements of WADA and was ready, if necessary, to provide full assistance in order to get out of this situation.

On September 23, WADA initiated an expedited review of the issue of RUSADA non-compliance due to the identification of discrepancies between LIMS and data extracted in the Moscow laboratory.

WADA gave RUSADA and the Russian Ministry of Sports a period of three weeks, starting September 17, to provide explanations for the inconsistencies found and to answer a number of questions addressed to them.
