The Professional Association in the press conference hall at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah Football Club, yesterday, organized a workshop entitled «Sports Integrity», within the requirements of licensing the UAE and Asian clubs for the sporting season 2019-2020, as the workshop was conducted by Integrity Officer Ayman Haroun In the presence of the Board member, Supervisor of the first team at Sharjah Club Mohammed Saeed Bozingal, the first team manager Abdulaziz Mohammed, the team coach Abdulaziz Al-Anbari, in addition to the technical, administrative and medical staff of the first team, the players and the under-21 team.
The lecturer reviewed the ways of manipulating the results that occur in football matches, and how they can be detected and dealt with, and to inform the competent authorities about them, and stressed the consequences and penalties faced by those found to be involved in issues of collusion in the results of the games.
Ayman Haroun warned of the dire health and social consequences for those who resort to doping, and stressed that the biggest role in this area falls on the technical, administrative and medical staff, to warn players, and raise their awareness of the consequences of doping behind doping, which may lead either to Ending a career, or death in many cases.
