According to The Telegraph, if the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) approves sanctions against Russian sports, Stanislav Cherchesov’s team may not be allowed to participate in the 2022 World Cup.

The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) may soon be recognized as non-compliant with the WADA code due to contradictions between the Moscow laboratory data provided by Russia to WADA experts in January 2019 and the information from the LIMS database that the agency has at its disposal. WADA granted the Russian side three weeks to explain the alleged violations.

Earlier, the head of RUSADA said that punishment could not be avoided if reasonable answers to WADA were not given.
