The Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ARABSAT) announced today that it has won a lawsuit filed against it by the Qatar Sports Network (BN Sports) before the French courts.

ArabSat said in a statement on its website that there is a new decision issued by an independent French court in support of the previous ruling, which rejected all the cases issued by (BN Sports) against it, and rejected any attempt to appeal by the Qatari network.

The statement added: "Arabsat would also like to confirm that it has received unprecedented financial compensation from (BN Sports) network, which was imposed by the court, and this clearly proves the falsehood of the allegations and proves the position of Arabsat on these irresponsible accusations, despite (Arabsat) the allegations against it , We strongly regret the irresponsible statements made by FIFA, and other federations that contain repeated allegations of BN Sports.

He continued: "Arabsat warns against inaccurate media statements and reports in the face of the court's final judgments, based on its belief in the rule of law. Arabsat will not participate in any media war with any entity on this subject.
