Fornling puts his IBO belt on the line

Fornling took the belt from Karo Murat in a memorable match in Hamburg last year.

The Swede also strikes back at critics who say he had an easy path to the top.

- People claim that I made my way to the boxing elite from nowhere but they forget that I met many good boxers before going up against Murat, says Fornling.

Although 29-year-old Bösel has an impressive list with only a loss of 30 matches, Fornling is confident.

- I've gone up against undefeated boxers. Gay has taken an easier route, just look at the class of his latest opponent. I am of tougher material and will go to Germany in November to let him know it, says Fornling.
