Dubai Sports Council has announced the opening of registration for the seventh edition of the “Sheikha Hind Women's Sports Games”, which is organized under the directives of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.

The tournament, which will be held during the period from 12 to 26 October next, eight sports team and individual, are: basketball, volleyball, bowling, road racing, swimming, bicycle, badminton, and chess, in addition to two new games have been added to This year's session, namely: crossfit, challenge games.

The tournament will be held in individual games in two categories: Citizens and Residents, excluding bowling.

The categories and the number of female athletes have been determined according to Circular No. (66) of 2018, issued by the General Authority for Sport, on the executive regulations for the participation of players from the categories covered by the directive of His Highness the President of the State in the official sports competitions, which are born in the UAE and resident athletes. Only one female athlete from outside institutions is allowed to participate in group games, and the organizing committee made it possible to register female athletes working in institutions to participate with their teams.
