Iker Casillas must wait until next December to know if he can return to the pitch after having suffered a heart attack last May that has forced him to stop his career for a few months.

"Iker Casillas has not given up playing again and in December he will have multiple tests to see if he can wear the shirt of Porto again after suffering an acute myocardial infarction," the paper edition of the newspaper A Bola explained on Tuesday.

Therefore, the Spanish international, 38, will have to wait a few months to know if he can continue playing football. If such tests are favorable, the Mostoleño will return to the Portuguese arch , otherwise his withdrawal would be considered forcibly.

Casillas, who now serves as a liaison between staff and management , suffered an acute myocardial infarction during the May 1 training with Porto, held at the PortoGaia Sports Training and Training Center, in Olival. He was then treated at the CUF Porto Hospital, where his heart problem was resolved.
