Wolverhampton imposed a 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United on Monday, in the second phase of the Premier League.

French forward Anthony Marcial took the lead for Manio (27), and then Robin Neves drew for the hosts (55).

The other Frenchman Paul Pogba missed a penalty in the 67th minute.

Each team scored one point to lift Manchester to four points in fourth place on goal difference behind third-placed Manchester City, two points behind Liverpool and Arsenal.

Wolverhampton, meanwhile, moved up to two points ahead of 13th.

Manchester United started this season with a 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea, while Wolves drew 0-0 at Leicester City.
