In order to excite next year's Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, a relay that connected approximately 1300 kilometers through areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake scored a goal in Tokyo on the 7th.

This relay is going to excite next year's Tokyo tournament and prevent weathering of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The seventh event left Aomori City on the 24th of last month.

The relay took 15 days to visit the disaster areas in Tohoku, and the last runners took over at Komazawa Olympic Park in Setagaya on the 7th.

The final runner was about 200 parents and children, Naoko Takahashi, a gold medalist for the Sydney Olympics women's marathon, and ran about 1.6 km in a harsh heat.

After this, Tasuki, who had thoughts about reconstruction, was handed over by Mr. Takahashi to Governor Koike in Tokyo.

Governor Koike said, “Tasuki is packed with sweat, tears, and excitement. There will be no success in the Tokyo Games without reconstruction.
