A number of international football stars are in a state of unemployment, and the current transfer market is a chance for them to look for a new team that will extend their stay in the stadiums.

Ivorian legend Yaya Toure, 35, is the record holder (alongside Eto'o) for winning the African Player of the Year award, and in his career with Olympiakos, Barcelona and Manchester City he won the club's biggest trophy.

With Guardiola training for Man City, Torre lost his place to the club last season and returns to his former club Olympiakos, who will stay until December and finish the contract. He is now waiting for a chance in a new team.

Patrice Evra, 37, is looking for a new team after ending his contract with West Ham at the end of last season. He has failed to sign a club in the past, although he has won many tournaments with clubs in France, England and Italy.

While Paul Pogba has returned to Manchester United after Mourinho's departure, his 28-year-old brother Florentine Pogpa has no team to play for. Most of the clubs where Florentine played were French clubs, but until last summer he played for Ankara's Gungreberle, who has been unemployed since then.

Nigerian star John Obey Mikel, 31, won the Premiership title three times when he was in Chelsea and was deported in 2017 to Tianjin Teda. He arrived in Egypt last March to join Zamalek, but the "deal of the century" failed.

Obi Mikel canceled his contract with the Chinese team weeks ago, and it is still unclear whether he is moving to another Chinese team or returning to Europe.

Giuseppe Rossi, 31, is also looking for a new club. Rossi suffered from consecutive injuries and until last summer was a Genoa player. Rossi has so far scored 90 goals, including 64 in the Primera Liga, where he starred with Villarreal.

Dimitar Berbatov, 37, who has starred in Russian, German, English and French football for years, is not currently playing for any team after his contract with the Indian club Krala Plasters.

Former German international Robert Hut, 34, ended his career as a professional at the start of the new year 2019. The Premiership player with Chelsea twice and Leicester once, ended his contract with Leicester last summer and stayed without a club to calmly announce his retirement.
