The African Football Confederation (CAF) has unveiled its first list of players for last season's awards, the first of which is the African Player of the Year award, which includes 34 players who play both inside and outside the continent.

The Arab players dominated the list of best-rated players, with the most intense competition between the Egyptian star, the English Premier League goal last season, Mohamed Salah, as well as one of the best defenders in Europe. In the best team competition, competition between Mauritania, Guinea Bissau, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Kenya and Uganda was limited.
