Two days after their Moscow adventures, football players Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamayev found themselves in the Main Investigation Department of the State Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the capital. At the same time, even the turnout to the organs did not go completely smoothly: by the initially appointed time, both athletes did not appear, and the Zenith forward managed to be late even to the final deadline (18:00). Thus, only a few hours were separated from the official announcement on the player’s wanted list.

But in the end, both athletes were still in the investigative department, where they were interrogated, and then completely detained for 48 hours, which they would have to spend in the temporary detention center (IVS).

Apparently, football players are unlikely to resolve the situation peacefully. Earlier, the lawyer of one of the victims of the attack of football players - the head of the department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Pak - has already said that his client intends to achieve the maximum preventive measure for Kokorin and Mamayev. In addition, he demanded to check the athletes for their presence in the body of substances that could cause such actions on their part.

“We are requesting a medical examination on the content of the substance that influenced their behavior,” said Park lawyer Gennady Udunyan on the air of the Let the Talk program.

The second victim also took an uncompromising position. Viktor Solovchuk, who works as a driver for the leading First Channel Olga Ushakova, said he did not intend to agree to the world one.

“I have a broken nose, a head injury, a lot of bruises. I am not going to forgive anyone for any price. I will go to the end, ”said Solovchuk.

Of course, in the near future, investigators will devote evidence and evidence that can shed light on the adventures of Zenit and Krasnodar players in the capital. But now there are data that make the history of Kokorin and Mamaev not as unambiguous as it was before. Thus, according to one of the witnesses of the beating of Solovchuk, who wished to remain anonymous, the driver of the conflict was Ushakova’s initiator.

“We all rested together in the institution. They called a taxi, went out into the street. It's cold there, the car is not served. One of the girls, seeing a parked car with a driver, decided that it was a taxi, and sat in the back seat. The man behind the wheel is extremely rude, with the mat began to expel her ", - quotes an eyewitness Rosbalt.

It is noted that Mamaev hurried to get the girl out of the car, but the driver did not calm down and continued shouting at the players, using profanity.

“He (Solovchuk. - RT ) just went out and started yelling at the guys with obscenities, used one completely insulting word. Alexander and Pavel grew up in simple families. For such a name calling in the same Podolsk, where Mamaev is from, it is customary to ask. Football players approached the driver, demanded to explain. In response, he began to frighten him with troubles and again repeated the word in their faces, adding: “I think so and am ready to answer for this,” the witness said.

According to an eyewitness to the incident, initially the participants in the conflict simply exchanged views on raised voices, but later Solovchuk pushed away Mamayev’s hand and hit the midfielder “Krasnodar” in the face.

“Pavel did not expect this, he even flew away. And away we go. If you take with some male concepts, the driver simply provoked the guys. I suspect that he did not do this for the first time and was sure that he would have nothing, ”the conflict witness concluded.

It is difficult to say how much this information is true and whether it can help the investigation. But we can definitely say for sure that the behavior of Kokorin and Mamayev attracted the attention of not only the Russian, but also the world community. It became known that even the International Football Federation (FIFA) became interested in the cause of sportsmen.

“The incident with the participation of Russian football players was taken under special control. FIFA is very attentive to all the world's media, we have a lot of Russian-speaking employees who track such news, ”the FIFA press service told Izvestia.

They hold a pulse on the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), under whose auspices Kokorin and Mamayev play in the Europa League.

It is noteworthy that the scandal around Kokorin and Mamayev raised such a serious question as the use of drugs by athletes. The State Duma started talking about the need to introduce mandatory testing of football players.

“I consider it appropriate to propose the introduction of mandatory testing for football players of all Russian clubs (all divisions) for drug use. In the case of irrefutable evidence of the use of these substances by an athlete, this will be the reason for termination of the employment relationship between the player and the club, including membership in the national team, ”RIA Novosti quotes from the letter of State Duma deputy Olga Golodets.

According to him, such measures will help to protect Russian football from "inadequate and hypocritical athletes, as Kokorin and Mamaev appeared before the country."

At the same time, on Friday, October 12, the Tverskoy court will announce a preventive measure for football players. On the eve it was reported that this will be done on Thursday, October 11, but this day will be devoted to holding confrontations and other necessary activities.

"Tomorrow, the investigation intends to apply to the court with a petition for election in respect of (Kokorin and Mamayev. - RT ) preventive measures," said Yuri Titov, press secretary of the Moscow head office of the Interior Ministry.

In addition, if the actions of football players initially fell under the article “Beatings,” then both offenses were retrained as “hooliganism”. The decision on the incident with Pak was made the day before, and on Thursday a similar verdict was issued in the case of the beating of Solovchuk. Thus, Kokorin and Mamaev face a much more stringent preventive measure, namely, up to seven years in prison.

Also in the head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that they identified the identities of all the participants in the fights involving football players Pavel Mamayev and Alexander Kokorin.

As part of the investigation of the attacks on Pak and Solovchuk, three more participants in the incident were detained, among them was the younger brother of Alexander Kokorin, Kirill.

“He is currently detained in the order of art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure on suspicion of committing a crime. Investigative actions are being carried out with the rest of the detainees, ”the official statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
