Nepryaeva won silver at the last stage of the competition and won the final second place in the overall standings.
Thus, she became the first Russian woman, who was able to climb the pedestal of the race. Prior to this, the best result among representatives of Russia was Olga Rocheva’s fifth place in 2008.
Anastasia Sedova (fourth result) and Julia Belorukova (fifth place) also made the top five.
The winner was the Norwegian Ingvild Flugstad Estberg.
