Football Leaks have put forward a discriminatory situation in English football. The protection of the players is indeed reduced in case of injury, a decision that the English Federation did not take for boys.

The revelations of Football Leaks continue, this time with a history of discrimination in English football. The Danish daily Politiken publishes this Friday an excerpt from the standard contract of players Super League, first division in the UK, drafted by the English Football Federation. We learn that the protection of footballers has been reduced, since clubs can now, legally, separate from one of them in case of injury away from land three months or more.

These controversial clauses include sections 38 to 41 of the contracts, in a section entitled "termination of long-term injuries", which states that "if a player is unable to train or play for the club due to injury or of illness for a continuous period of three months, according to the written assessment of a qualified medical consultant, instructed by the club, the player will enter the case of a long-term injury ".

A situation that does not live English footballers, more protected, since they must be away from the ground more than 18 months in case of injury for a club to be authorized to dismiss them.
