The year 2018 celebrates 40 years of this mythical transatlantic race that is "The Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe". An opportunity for the Region and its companies to develop partnerships and promote local products.

Throughout 2008, more than twenty operations were organized in metropolitan France by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Guadeloupe Islands and the Association of Medium and Small Industries. Goal ? Promote and promote regional products from Guadeloupe.

The first of these seduction evenings took place in Saint-Malo on March 19th and 20th. Twenty others followed at Promocash and Métro wholesalers, at Auchan stores (120 hypermarkets nationwide), Simply Market and Le Leclerc supermarkets in Saint-Malo, as well as in V & B wine shops.

This seduction operation for distribution professionals and CHRs (cafés, hotels, restaurants) has met with some success. It will have made it possible to discover a variety of flagship products of the Guadeloupe agro-industry.
