A group of children associated with a friendship with Argentinian Jorge Sampaoli has been given a new bike for Brazil's Santos coach after his bike was stolen outside a bank in the coastal city last week.

According to Reuters, the children, associated with the club, gave Sampaoli a new bicycle on Saturday, two days after the story of the theft of his bicycle spread.

Sampaoli, who hired Santos last December and became known for riding bicycles in the city, left his bicycle without a bank lock and could not find it when he left.

The Santos account on Twitter wrote that the children were giving him a new bicycle "so that he could continue to cycle" along with photos of the coach, the bike and his friends from the boys.

Sampaoli, the former coach of Chile, Argentina and Sevilla, had a friendship with the children after climbing the trees outside the Santos training center to follow the training of the players.
