Bayern Munich international striker Kingsley Coman, who has been injured since August, is expected to return to the field on Saturday in the Bundesliga meeting with Werder Bremen, Bavarian coach Niko Kovac said Friday.

"Thiago feels good, Kingsley too, but of course they will not be able to play 90 minutes yet," said Kovac.

The 22-year-old Frenchman suffered two severe left ligament tears in the left ankle. The first, in February, deprived him of the end of the season and made him miss the World Cup with the France team.

While returning to competition in August, he suffered exactly the same injury, and was then in the healing and rehabilitation phase.

Bayern Munich, the most successful club in Germany, is only in 5th place in the current German league standings, nine points behind leader Dortmund. And the coach's position is therefore threatened.
