So far, there have been close to a hundred live concerts with the British hard rock legends for Kalle Bäck, 38, from Gothenburg. On a day-to-day basis, he is a municipal politician for the Christian Democrats – his spare time is mainly devoted to Iron Maiden.

The concert at Sweden Rock will be his sixth – only on the ongoing The Future Past Tour.

The 38-year-old travels all over the globe to follow the idols.

"It's important to plan your leave and doesn't really cost much more than regular holidays. But it's worth it to see the world's best band.

Maiden has deliberately searched deeper into her own song treasure and opted out of otherwise obvious numbers such as "The number of the beast" and "Run to the hills".

– In that way, this is really the fans' tour, says Kalle Bäck.
