The young boy had a school ball to look forward to later in the evening, two acquaintances of the same age of the victim tell SVT's team.

"It's terrible, it's a shock," says a 15-year-old acquaintance of the victim who did not want to be in the picture.

She and her friend have left flowers at the memorial site organized for the deceased15-year-old.

"He was too young, and he hadn't had time to experience any of life," says her friend.

"A special school day"

According to Lars Anders Johansson, press officer at the boy's school, the students' graduation ball was going on when the school received the information about the boy confirmed by the police, so the ball had to be called off prematurely.

"The school contacted all the students' parents and guardians who were allowed to come and pick them up or otherwise ensure that they could come home in calm and orderly circumstances. Staff remained in the premises as long as there were children left, he says.

On Friday, the school has activated crisis teams, and extra counselors have come in from other schools, so that they can offer conversation support to all students who need it.

"It's been school today, but it's been a special school day, you have to say. The students came in later, and in different rounds, so that everyone could be received in a dignified manner. They have also had extra time with their mentors today, and the school day has been somewhat shortened," says Lars Anders Johansson.

He also says that support will be available to students for as long as needed.

A man arrested

According to the prosecutor, a 15-year-old man has been arrested and on probable cause is suspected of murder. By Sunday, it will be announced whether the man will be detained, according to the prosecutor, who is very secretive about the case.

Even the police are very reticent.
