This is stated on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry noted that Moscow is recording some stabilization of the situation in the region.

"The outbreak of violence unleashed by Pristina under the guise of NATO military violence has been extinguished, but the root causes of the aggravation have not been eliminated, the West has not drawn the right conclusions," the statement said.

In this regard, Russia demands that the West stop the destructive line on this issue, as well as stop "playing along" with the Kosovo authorities in their desire to make the region an ethnically pure territory.

On June 5, NATO announced that additional alliance forces (KFOR) had begun to arrive in partially recognized Kosovo.

Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić said that the West could put pressure on Pristina to fulfill its obligations.
