This statement was made by the first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky.
“Catastrophic damage has been caused to the environment. For this, NATO will be cursed by the next 60 generations of people doomed to suffer from health problems due to Washington’s criminal actions,” he said.
At the same time, Polyansky emphasized that former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright cynically called these actions “collateral damage.”
Earlier, Polyansky said that Russia calls on the UN Security Council to urgently take measures to protect the Kosovo Serbs.
Also, according to him, the US sale of Javelin to Kosovo would violate UN Security Council resolutions.
