This was stated in the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

"On the morning of June 6, raiders entered the territory of the temple, pushed the parishioners out of the fence, closed the gates and broke down the door of the church. The attackers were guarded by the police," the report said.

It is noted that after that, a commission consisting of members of the OCU community entered the temple.

It is specified that the community of the temple has collected photo and video evidence of the seizure of the shrine and will go to court.

Earlier, the Union of Orthodox Journalists reported that the parishioners of the Church of the Archangel Michael in the village of Protsev, Boryspil district, Kyiv region, voted for loyalty to the canonical UOC and refused to move to the schismatic OCU.

On June 1, it became known that two churches of the canonical UOC were seized by unknown persons with the help of police in the city of Pereyaslav, Kyiv region.
