As RIA Novosti indicates with reference to the document, the statement concerns, in particular, the reporting period - from December 2023 to February 2024.

“Clerics and parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) continued to be subject to intimidation during the reporting period,” the document notes.

The UN OHCHR alone recorded six cases in five regions when groups of people forcibly broke into the churches of the UOC, justifying their actions by decisions of local authorities to register new religious communities of the OCU at the address.

Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted searches of employees of the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ).
