Several endowments of the National Police maintain at this time the surveillance on a house in the old town of Miranda de Ebro (Burgos), where a family is entrenched, after this afternoon there was a confrontation and a shootout between members of two clans, apparently without any injuries.

Neighborhood sources and eyewitnesses have explained to EFE that the confrontation occurred in the early afternoon in the vicinity of the Carlos III bridge, at the entrance to the old part of Miranda de Ebro.

The agents remain in the area, where dozens of people are in the street, unable to access an area that remains cordoned off by the Police and in an atmosphere of tension.

Apparently the conflict that faces these two families is related to a robbery and even the property, located on Real Aquende Street, have moved riot police and firefighters, to try to find one of the weapons with which shots may have been fired.
