Prosecutor on arrested child blotter: "The children pointed him out"

The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested on the evening of May 11 and has been in custody since May 14.

"He is suspected of a total of four cases of sexual molestation against children on three different occasions," says Linnea Bergkvist, prosecutor at the prosecutor's office.

Singled out by the children

The man was arrested after the two children pointed out the man in the area where the incident took place.

Now the man is suspected of two more cases of sexual assault that allegedly took place in the same area where the signals match the arrested person.

Linnea Bergkvist believes that the work differs when children are involved.

"It's very important not to ask leading questions to children.

Could this person be behind multiple cases?

"It's hard to say. These are different cases, in which not only children are involved. But the police are investigating whether there are links to other cases.
