Al Jazeera correspondent reported that the Afra Mall commercial complex south of Khartoum was subjected to a large fire that consumed this complex near the Green Square.

Al Jazeera correspondent added that it was not possible to know the causes of the fire, at a time when fierce battles continue between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in the Sudanese capital.

Activists circulated on social media pictures of the fire at the mall, which is located on Airport Street in Khartoum.
