Ludwig Göransson has made a comet career with several acclaimed musical achievements. But it all started in Linköping, where he grew up and his father Tomas is a music teacher. When Ludwig Göransson yesterday won the prize for composer of the year, his father was there to receive the award.

"I take some of the credit because I've been a teacher. I started playing guitar with Ludwig when he was six years old and since then it has progressed all the time, he said when the award was received during the Grammy Awards that were broadcast on TV4.

Write a message to Linköping

Recently, the news came about the closure of the music classes at Folkungaskolan in Linköping – where Ludwig also attended. When the award was received, he therefore took the opportunity to send a greeting to Linköping.

"Ludwig would like to send a little greeting to Linköping, where he grew up. Ludde has a very solid music education and Linköping's music classes are fighting and there are some who want to put down that idea and he wants to say that he had a great time when he went there, said Tomas from the stage during the Grammy Awards.
