"Now some Western companies, which their governments kicked out of Russia and who obeyed, are trying to return. Our government has commented on this situation. I'm not very sure that it is necessary to immediately resolve this issue," Lavrov said during a press conference at the UN.
The minister added that the vacant niche should be occupied by Russian business.
"We will develop our economy through the development of material goods," he continued.
Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, noted that it would be more difficult for some foreign companies that hastily left Russia to return than to leave.
