Washington, April 4 (ZXS) -- US President and Democratic Party Biden officially announced his re-election in 25 with a campaign video promotional video on the 25th.

Biden was born on November 1942, 11, and turns 20 this year. If his re-election is successful, he will complete his second term at the age of 80.

Compared with the way of holding rallies in the "swing states" of the general election to announce his candidacy, Biden "low-key" chose to release this 7-minute campaign ad at 3 a.m. ET. However, April 4 is also the anniversary of Biden's announcement four years ago that he is running for the 25 election.

"As I said, we fought for the soul of America, and we still do." Biden said in the video, "The question we face is, will there be more or less freedom, more or less rights in the coming years? "Fight for America's soul" was Biden's campaign slogan for the 2020 election.

In January 2021, Biden was inaugurated as president of the United States amid the height of the coronavirus pandemic and the aftermath of the Capitol riot. Subsequently, he adopted large-scale economic stimulus policies to relieve the epidemic while promoting the construction of US infrastructure. However, under the influence of multiple factors such as the Ukraine crisis and rising energy prices, prices in the United States have soared since the beginning of 1, and inflation has not receded so far. After last year's midterm elections, Republicans "re-controlled" the House of Representatives, further increasing the resistance to governing during Biden's term.

Biden's campaign ad uses "finish the job" as the landing point, and the opening re-election subtitles are accompanied by images of the Capitol Hill riot and anti-abortion demonstrations in front of the US Supreme Court. Biden once again targeted "MAGA Republicans" (MAGA refers to Trump's campaign slogan "Make America Great Again") and attacked them for "lining up" to deprive the American people of their basic rights.

In response to Biden's announcement of his re-election bid, the Republican National Committee issued a statement in response. The statement criticized Biden for "detaching from reality and creating crisis after crisis" and that if Biden is allowed to "get the job done," U.S. inflation will continue to soar, crime will rise, more fentanyl will cross the border, and American families will get worse.

On the Republican side, former US President Trump, former US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Haley and others have announced official candidacies for the 2024 election. With Biden officially announcing his re-election bid, he will be procedurally allowed to raise money directly for his campaign to form a campaign team.

The 2024 U.S. election is about 18 months away. For the news of Biden's re-election campaign, American public opinion believes that although Biden faces unfavorable factors such as low polls and advanced age to participate in the election, it at least shows that he still has the support of the Democratic Party.
