According to senators and experts, the school course of the NWP should be three orders of magnitude more than 35 hours a year, said Yuri Valyaev, deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security.
He noted that the majority in the committee proposed to make the NWP a separate subject.
"After the beginning of the SVO, it became absolutely clear to all Russians that in order to effectively defend the Fatherland, it is necessary to progressively gain knowledge in the field of military training," Valyaev said.
On December 28, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Education published an order approving a unified federal program of preschool education.
The school curriculum also included initial military training within the framework of the OBZH and a block on special operations within the framework of history.
