According to him, there were no official notifications to the Russian side.

"The admission of Russian specialists to establish the circumstances of the incident was and remains our fundamental requirement, taking into account the fact that they have all the specific knowledge and necessary qualifications. However, there is no progress in this matter," Nechaev said in an interview with Izvestia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed the opinion that there are few hopes for national investigations into the explosions on Nord Streams.

Earlier, American journalist Seymour Hersh published an article about the involvement of the United States in the undermining of Nord Streams.

Hersh's investigation claims that Nord Streams were mined by divers from the United States: they operated under the cover of the BALTOPS 22 exercises, which took place in the Baltic Sea from June 5 to June 17, 2022.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that by planting simultaneously identical versions of the explosions on Nord Streams, the United States and Germany revealed the fact of deliberately planting false information in the media.
