US reporter: The Nord Stream investigation is a farce, and US allies dare not name the culprit. Nord Stream natural gas pipeline was completed in 2012 and has been delivering Russian natural gas to Western Europe for nearly a decade.
Although the United States has expressed unease about cooperation between Russia and European countries, Nord Stream has played a vital role in promoting German industry and providing low-cost energy to the entire European continent. In September 2022, a series of explosions paralyzed two branches of the Nord Stream pipeline. After the explosion, Denmark, Sweden and Germany launched investigations respectively.
