Huizhou, April 4, 8 (Zhang You Song Xiujie) April 2023, 4 is the 8th anniversary of the death of Ye Ting, Li Xiuwen and other "April 77" martyrs, in order to remember the martyrs, inherit the martyrs' legacy, and gather development strength, Huiyang District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province held a commemorative activity for the 77th anniversary of the death of the "April <>" martyrs at the Ye Ting Memorial Hall.

Mr. Yip Siu-yan, granddaughter of General Ye Ting, Honorary Vice President of the Board of Directors of Ye Ting Memorial Hall, President of the Ye Ting Research Association of Macau, former President of the Hong Kong Skating Union, Mr. Li Xiaoyong, grandson of Li Shuoxun and Honorary Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ye Ting Memorial Hall; Ye Maoting, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Huiyang District, Huizhou City; Chen Aihua, member of the Standing Committee of the Huiyang District Party Committee, Minister of Propaganda and member of the Party Group of the District Government; Yang Zhibin, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Qiuchang Street, Huiyang District; Lin Jincheng, director of the Party History Office of the Huiyang District Party Committee; Huiyang District direct publicity and cultural system unit in charge of leaders and town (street) publicity committees; Representatives of Ye Ting Middle School and Red Army Primary School, representatives of Tingxiu Charity Federation, Zhoutian Village Committee and villagers, all employees of Ye Ting Memorial Hall and nearly 200 people from the news media laid baskets of flowers for the martyrs.

In addition to on-site activities, on April 4, Ye Ting Memorial Hall and Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border District Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall also held a commemoration of the 6th anniversary of the "April 77" martyr's death in Yan'an's "April <>" Martyrs' Cemetery, through poetry recitation and song singing with local students to remember General Ye Ting, while Ye Ting Memorial Hall sent "Ye Ting Special Classroom" to Yan'an Vocational and Technical College.

77 years ago, Ye Ting, a great proletarian revolutionary and military strategist, and one of the main founders of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and other "Four Eight" martyrs died in Heicha Mountain; Over the past 77 years, the sons and daughters of China who have struggled on the road of national independence and rejuvenation have always remembered the heroic spirit. Their sacrifice is a long-term hatred of the revolution and an irreparable loss. Their spirit will live on forever! (End)
