According to the ERR portal, the agreement was approved by the Reformist Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Kai Kallas, the Social Democratic Party and the Estonia 200 Party, which are part of the country's ruling coalition.

The document says that the state in the coming years will be "in the most difficult security situation since the Second World War."

"Long-term spending on state defense will be allocated 3% of national GDP for four years, to which will be added the cost of accommodating allies," the portal reports the text of the agreement.

It is specified that the main directions of development of the Defense Forces will be the development of multi-level air defense systems, long-range missile systems and an increase in ammunition stocks.
